Excellent service MCCARTHY

Once again the shining star Devan Pillay delivered excellent service. I mailed him this morning to request a plumber, i had a call from the roadside assist dept immediately and spoke to Eldrin which assisted me instantly. Devan then did a followup call just to ensure that all was well with me. What can i say? you guys are delivering an extra ordinary service and keep up the good work. Now i can gladly recommend Club McCarthy all my friends and family. I'm glad i reconsidered my cancellation.



Good Morning. I needed assistance on Thursday 30 July 2015. I called the call centre and Anton assisted me. The service I received was absolutely phenomenal! Anton was excellent right from the moment he took my call up until help arrived. I praise Anton for his excellent service.The gentleman from Central Locksmiths Bryan was also great and Saleem that done the call out as well. Well done to all and especially Club McCarthy.

On 2015-05-15 at about 18:00 I had a double puncture while driving on one of the roads in Alberton area.I was really stuck on the side of the road hoping that some kind of help will come from nowhere.As it was getting dark,no one came to my rescue untill I remembered that I am a member of the club.Just one call solved my problem.I spoke to a lady by the name of ZINHLE who was so helpful in arranging a tow service for me.The tow service also arrived on time as ZINHLE said to me.It was not all, ZINHLE also kept on calling to find out whether the tow service had contacted me and also to find out whether they have arrived already.In no time I was
safe at home.My ref no amoungst others was 0770-1505-235118.I really feel. I'm in good hands with Club McCarthy and will definately recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Wow guys you really saved my day,  I was stuck at N3 freeway,  my car just stuck in the middle of the road.  I just dial your number and the towing truck just come within a minute.  Your call centre was phoning me now and again to check if I am safe and to ensure that I am getting the assistance that I requested. 

Even after my car was towed they phoned to check if was help on time.  I really enjoyed to be part of your family

After a weekend spent in Cape Town for the Dealer Awards - my husband accidentally locked the keys inside the car. On our arrival at Durban Airport, we couldn't even go home to collect the spare, as it was also locked inside the vehicle.

First thing I did was call Bidvest Club McCarthy, and got hold of Dorcas, who immediately took all my details and promised me assistance. She kept calling, to check on us right until after we got home.

I'm very happy with the service I received. Keep up the good work guys.

Club Mccarthy came to me rescue

It was around 20h30 on  Saturday when I identified that my car keys were missing. We had a funeral for my sister in law in Hertzogville which is 1hr 45 minutes from Bloemfontein.

My car had parked outside the gate since I was running all errands for the funeral and I could not park inside the yard since there were many cars blocking my way. When everyone (friends and relatives) had left and it was just family, I wanted to park the car in the garage.

It was then that we noticed that my car keys were not where we always hang the keys. I checked in all pockets of what I was wearing and my husband did the same. We then tried to track our movements by trying to remember all that we had done after we parked the car. I remembered that I had to off load the drinks that we had bought to top up. The only place where the key could have been was the boot together with my hand bag which carries the small key that should be used for emergencies.

Panic raised through my veins as I was due to go back to Johannesburg early next morning. I called Mccarthy club and the sweet lady who assisted even advised that the nearest locksmith would be Kimberly. They called the locksmith and he was in contact with me to arrange for him to come out. He pleaded with me that I wait for early morning due to the area being very rural.

By 8h30 on Sunday morning, the locksmith was knocking at the gate and we got out and he started the job. Within 10 minutes, the boot was  opened and the keys were lying next to my bag.

I could not thank him enough as I had not had a wink of sleeping, getting up now and again to see if the car was still fine since it was parked outside the gate. I was able to travel back to my house and got home on time to rest for my board meeting which was scheduled for Monday morning.

That day, I thanked God that I had signed up with Mccarthy club.

I know that I am always covered where ever I go, if they are able to send out assistance even in the RURALs.

Well I remember the day clearly………..

It was a Friday afternoon and I was on my way home in peak traffic, it was a hot summers day and I was lucky to be first person at the robot.  Blasting the music in my Peugeot 206 at the time with the electric windows down and singing along to a song on the radio……….. the light turns green and I attempt to pull away, and just there and then the car stalls and everything switches off. 

I was women alone in peak traffic at a robot at a major intersection, the cars behind me irritated in infuriated at the fact that my car decided at that moment to die, lol. 

The kind walkers selling there sunglasses and caps at the robot came to assist and pushed my car up the hill into the yellow lane……….  At this time I was in a state of panic and frustrated, however I called McCarthy immediately and was swiftly assisted by a very eager and friendly consultant, which dispatched a driver to come and transport my vehicle to my home. 

The service I experienced by both the driver as well as the consultant was exception and I am really grateful to belong to CLUB McCarthy, even when I bought my new vehicle I updated my details and insisted to stay a member of CLUB McCarthy.

A Big Thank you

I had travelled with my friend from Pretoria to attend a funeral in a village called Thlakong, about 60km away from Rustenburg in the North West Province. After getting lost for three hours in the night to find the place, we ultimately arrived with the help of some village night club revellers. It was so cold that we decided to sleep in the car to avoid catching flue during the night vigil.

In the morning, we asked our aunt if we can go to her house to freshen up. After all that done around 6am that saturday morning, we packed our bags and loaded them in the boot to go back to the funeral house.I had only unlocked the boot and not the doors. Whilst organizing the bags in the boot, I had put the car keys inside the boot too. Closed the boot! OMG All the doors locked!

Called MCarthy roadside assistance, brilliant communication to update on the process. Technician came, did his tricks, opened the driver's door, loaded a small village boy inside the car to access the boot, there the key lying inside, amidst the darkness in the boot. It was humbling but great experience. The technician had a sense of humor, was professional in so many ways. MCarthy you are my man! and always Audi for life!!!

Just a short note to say Thank You for your excellent service. This Monday morning the 22 September 2014, my Toyota would not start. I did not panic, because I knew I had my Club McCarthy membership card. The customer consultant, Miss Faeeza, logged my call and within 30 minutes, a technician had been dispatched to my home, to check the vehicle and to jump start it. 10 out of 10 for excellence.

I must express my sincere appreciation for the prompt and able assistance I have received from you.
 
It stands in absolute stark contrast to that I have received from the two Peugeot service centres I contacted and Peugeot Customer complaints.
 
You were the only person after eventually getting onto the internet to track down contact numbers etc that was prepared to assist
 
I intend escalating the manner in which this issue was dealt with to the Motor Industry Ombudsperson as I am extremely unhappy with the quality of service received from Peugeot with regard to my vehicle and its staff.
 
I however will be sure to highlight that you indeed were the exception.
 
Please so keep up the good work, you are an excellent example and as asset to your employer.

Ccompliment club McCarthy

Good Day, I would like to compliment club McCarthy fo rthe quick and efficient response to me this morning. I had a burst tyre and called in for roadside assistance. My husband is part of Club Mccarthy however we have never used their service. The lady at the call centre, Miriam was efficient and kept me up to speed with sms's and giving me the name of the technician who would respond.

The technician, Louis was from 1st for woman and was most helpful in changing my tyre and making sure I was okay to get back onto the road. Thank you Club Mccarthy!

Usually we always send emails out for complains. However this time I would like to compliment Club Mccarthy. My vehicle broke down on Saturday night, and I was assisted timeously with it being towed to my premises and to the dealer thereafter. I was very pleased with the service I received , the friendly help and the response in which things were done. An absolute pleasure , well done!

Best Experience

I hereby wishto share best experience with Bidvest McCarthy. I was trying to get insurance for my vehicles. All over it was greater than what Bidvest McCarthy offered.

Now I have peace of mind for vehicle cover. The experience on South African road you cannot go without insurance.

Fantastic experience

I have been sharing this situation with many people already as it was quite an emotional experience. I am now glad that I can share it in this particular forum as hopefully will be shared with many more.

It was the first Saturday after Easter and the start of my hockey winter league season. The thermometer on my car read 30 degrees C and I was travelling along a particularly notorious stretch of the N2 near the R300 turn-off. I had just passed a bill board warning motorists to NOT STOP along this stretch of road for safety reasons, so was already mildly on edge.

Then my car engine stopped, my power steering disengaged and I crawled to a standstill on the hard shoulder along this very dangerous stretch of road. Fortunately, I had an emergency number to call if stuck on the N2 programmed into my cell phone and called this immediately. After 5 minutes my location was registered by the control room and I was told to wait patiently. This was very hard to do given my location and I could not help searching outside regularly for any sign of imminent attack by some opportunistic criminals.

I then called the Club McCarthy emergency number and as I now had almost no credit left on my phone I asked the helpful lady on the other end of the phone to please call me back. She said that she would immediately as she needed to send my location to the recovery vehicle. Within seconds she rang my cell phone number and to my shear frustration and disbelief my phone's touchscreen failed to respond to the frantic swipes of my finger. So now I was stuck with a broken car, no useable cell phone and an increasing level of panic.

To my great relief a flying squad car then arrived and parked behind me. One of the officers kindly lend me his phone after hearing about my almost cursed situation and I was soon in contact with McCarthy control room again. Within 15 minutes of my call a breakdown vehicle had been contacted and a confirmatory SMS was sent to the officer's phone informing me of this. Within 40 minutes of this message, I was returning home with my car in tow thanks to the efficient service of the McCarthy breakdown team. Interestingly, the chap from the towing company said that any vehicle that usually stands stationary for more that an hour along that stretch of road usually comes to some harm, so he said that I was very fortunate to have been in such good hands. So thank you Club McCarthy. Keep up the good work.
