How do I become a Club McCarthy member?
Click on the Member Options tab at the top of the page and decide which membership plan you would like. Then click on the Join the Club tab and fill out your details. We'll take care of the rest!

How long is my membership valid for?
Your membership is valid for one year from the purchase of your vehicle or your joining date. When your membership nears its renewal date, a Club McCarthy agent will contact you to offer you the opportunity to renew your membership for another year.
How do I activate my Club card?
Simply call our Call Centre on 0861 293 329, quote your member number and they will activate your membership immediately.
I've lost my card, what do I do now?
Call our Call Centre on 0861 293 329 and they will get a new card to you in the mail immediately.
Am I covered immediately upon activation?

I have more than one vehicle, will all my vehicles be covered under one membership?
A Club McCarthy membership only covers the vehicle specified when you joined, therefore each vehicle in the household will require its own membership.
Are my benefits still valid if I travel outside of South Africa?
Where a breakdown has occurred outside the borders of South Africa, we can arrange assistance on an access basis. To arrange assistance outside the borders of South Africa, members can call 011 4301610
